We’ve specialised in sub-prime van finance for over 20 years; financing vans for customers with a thin credit file or bad credit history, that may have been declined by other lenders.

Our flexible van underwriting criteria for van dealerships

Whilst our flexible criteria helps us to lend responsibly, we are flexible on things such as the age of the van, mileage, and the lengths of our agreements. We have no vehicle age limit in our lending criteria, and we can finance petrol vans up to 120,000 miles and diesel vans up to 160,000 miles! This is because we understand the importance in getting an approval for finance on the van your customers want to buy from you. Our underwriters review each application on its own merits, which gives us the ability and flexibility to approve complex deals other lenders may not even consider.

We know that it can be challenging to get approvals for self-employed customers because they often struggle to prove their income. To make this easier for our van dealer partners we use Open Banking, which means you no longer have to upload bank statements and your customers don't need to find or request paper copies either.

Faster payments

We pay our van dealer partners via Faster Payments, which allows us to send funds on completed finance agreements within 15 minutes upon receipt of all documents and proofs *. Our dedicated Dealer Portal is available to all our dealer partners. This allows our dealer partners to propose customers, upload documents, eSign customers, get real time updates on the status of all pending applications, and get instant decisions and credit limits. We also have a chat system built into our Dealer Portal, so if you’ve got a query or have an update for us and don’t have time to call, you can drop us a message and a real person will reply to you with an update.
